Hello all! Since it has been way too long since we have posted I though we would give you all a real treat. Lots of pictures along with some updates on our favorite girl. In 9 days Ruby will be 6 months old, and boy has she grown in the last 6 months. Our little immobile baby is now sitting up on her own for the most part, ie- still tips over and face plants on the couch occasionally. She also reaches for anything in sight which has certainly changed going out to eat, now having to watch that she's not grabbing hot plates, steak knives, you get the idea. We are getting a lot of milage out of the bumbo chair, a place we can put her while we get some much needed coffee in the mornings.

Enjoying her doggie while in the Bumbo

(still trying to reach for things)

One of mom's christmas gifts was some tools to make homemade baby food. So far Ruby has tried the squash and pears, and likes it for the most part.
Squash ala Mommy

We got a bit of snow over the weekend, Ruby loved looking outside at the snow, also our crazy dog running through the snow.

Molly is definitely Ruby's favorite toy, she watches her every move, and squeals with delight when Molly licks her face. Yucky I know, but it's probably going to happen a lot during their growing up together. Molly has been a great dog so far, not even trying to chew Ruby's toys. Okay, there was an incident with a hungry hungry caterpillar but we don't talk about that.
Whatcha looking at?
Oh...right.

As you all know Ruby was born a Brown's fan, poor kid. Despite their less than perfect season she still rooted them on, often in her Browns wear supplied by Debbie and great grandma from Ohio. She even helps daddy with the remote.
The bouncer seat is also getting a lot of use these days, luckily she likes it a lot more than a couple of months ago, the child that used to scream the second you put her in it now looks like this.
We will be posting more soon, will give you the stats on the 6 month appointment, hopefully the kid will move up from the 6th percentile for weight, maybe mom's babyfood will help her start packing on some pounds!
