Finally some updates!!

Wow! It has been way too long since we've updated the blog. (And sadly my new year's resolution was to update more...that was 4 months ago? Anyhow here is a few updates. 

Sept 2103- We went to Disney World! What a fun trip- Adam was in Florida for work and we decided to join him. Ruby had an amazing time and still talks about it on a weekly basis. Her favorite ride was  "It's a small world" and she loved meeting the princesses, but also really liked meeting the wicked step-mother and step-sisters from Cinderella. 

Did I mention we were there for the Halloween Party? Adding to the amazement was candy, costumes, going on all the rides at night, and no lines!!

Sadie didn't really get much out of the trip but she looked good.

We bought a new house! Well, new to us. It's a fixer upper but in a neighborhood we really like, a much better school district, and the house has all the room we will need until the girls are all grown up. This has been our real time consumer and the main reason (excuse) for not updating the blog. We have had the floors refinished and replaced, painted the girls rooms, living room, play room, kitchen, etc. and a lot of little stuff. (Before and After pics to come)

We had a great Halloween, we had just gotten moved into the house and it was a great way to meet our new neighbors. 

Ruby is in preschool- and having a great time. She is learning so much every day and we have no doubt that she will be ready for Kindergarten in a year.

We had a great winter! One of Ruby's Christmas gifts was a sled that she and Adam broke it in on one of our snowy days this winter. We are trying to do a few Daddy/daughter or Mommy/daughter dates with Ruby now that Sadie is here, I think this was one of her favorites.

Ruby and Sadie get along beautifully and we couldn't be happier about that. They have totally opposite personalities but Ruby is a great big sister and is very patient with Sadie, and she thinks that Sadie is a great friend to play with.

Well, now that we have the ball rolling again expect real updates, I need to upload a few months of pictures off the camera, so more to come soon!
